Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to remember a client if they haven’t been in to see me in awhile. I was about half-way through a Brazilian yesterday when I remembered the woman I was waxing. As soon as she yelled “Jesus take the wheel!” I knew exactly who she was.

In order to give you the most thorough Brazilian Bikini Wax, I need to put you in a happy baby pose. Look how happy you will be when I’m finished!

Women deal with pain in interesting ways sometimes. I had one woman try to blow on her skin. Unfortunately, the area I specialize in waxing is difficult to reach with your breath. Although she tried very hard to blow on her kitty, it just didn’t quite work.

Spring is Here
And the time is right
To rid yourself
Of that hairy sight.

Yesterday I had my teeth cleaned by a new hygienist. Although I know most of the people at this practice, I had never met her before so she didn’t know who I was or what I did for work. I asked her to focus on removing the tartar between my teeth. I told her I couldn’t stand things in the creases, especially considering what I do for a living. When I told her that I do Brazilians, she couldn’t stop laughing. She thanked me for making her Monday so much fun.

I wrote a story in The Happy Hoo-Ha trilogy about how black women tend to scream for Jesus while they are getting a Brazilian. One day, I had a woman calling all of the apostles names, which was way more complicated than just calling for Jesus. Saturday, while a woman was waiting for her appointment with me, she was reading that story in my book. It was her daughter who was the client praying to the apostles. She was proud her daughter was in one of my books and bought a copy to show her!

I waxed a woman who told me her friends call her Fancy Pants now that she gets Brazilians on a regular basis. I liked that nickname. In fact, I think we should all celebrate and have a fancy pants party when we get a Brazilian Bikini Wax!

I was excited to read this recent review of Passion Never Dies.  Thank you!!!!

“This book, as with the first book, was VERY real to me. The characters emotions touched my emotions, which were quite raw with the loss, and were joyful with the new relationship and finding passion again when you feel life is over. M.E. has a knack for making the reader feel as if they know the characters. I couldn’t wait for the next book!!”
