In my professional life, I thrive on making kitties hairless. In my personal life, however, I adore the hairy creatures. Please meet Leya and Loma. They are 19 month old cousins who will be released in the wild when they are 3-5 years old. They live in Zimbabwe and are currently learning how to hunt on their own. When we met them, they had recently killed a baboon. They didn’t eat it though. Apparently, baboons don’t taste very good.
A new client thought Bandit was a stuffed animal until she noticed his tongue stick out. The very next client pointed to him and said “That is the only hairy thing at Mark and M.E.”
I normally don’t take two weeks off of work, but this was a very special occasion. Some people get nervous when I am out of town for so long and worry that their hair will be out of control by the time I get back. A client actually sent me this picture while I was away!
The gentleman’s brazilian wax at Mark and M.E. is $70. I think I may need to charge this fella a little more.
