Hose Down Your Hoo-Ha

 Is there an age limit to waxing? Not really. Yesterday I waxed 3 separate 13 year old girls. The first one had very dark hair on her upper lip & a connected brow. The second girl had a lot of hair that poked out of her bathing suit and the third one had very dense bikini hair that was noticeable beneath her bathing suit. All of them told me they were embarrassed by their hair and two of them even tried shaving. Both of those girls told me that their skin got very irritated by the razor and they swore they’d never shave again. Ironically the girls that got the bikini waxes tolerated the wax better than their mom’s. 😁

 Some people sweat a lot during a Brazilian Waxing service. Yesterday a young woman was sweating so badly that she told me her blow out was going to fall out!

 Some people go to work every day; I go to play and make people happy. It’s the best job in the world. And for the most part, our job is an absolute blast. Many of you would be shocked by how much laughter occurs in our wax rooms. Making the waxing experience fun is the legacy I hope to leave behind when I stop ripping out hair for a living. When you pull a lot of hair out by the root, it is very satisfying. The other day I was so psyched after one particular rip, the client asked, “Are you happy?” And I said, “Very!” That is when she said, “At least one of us is!” We both started laughing, she got off the table and thanked me profusely. It was another fun moment and a rewarding experience.

M.E. “Why do you have 2 phones?”

Client: “I’m a drug dealer.”

M.E. “But you’re pregnant.”

Client: “I don’t do drugs; I just sell them.”

 As I was giving a client a Brazilian Wax, she told me that she was getting so warm that she was going to have to take her wig off! Moral of the story: You may want to think twice about wearing a wig to your wax appointment.

I had a really difficult time waxing a man and his wife this week. This was the condition of their hair when they came in for side by side Brazilians. They were high (which never helps) and neither of them could remember the last time they drank a glass of water!😩
