I spent a lot of time updating my Google Business Page. I’m not exactly sure how popular this particular site is. I just know that I want people to easily find us when they search hair or waxing. I added a ton of pictures and made sure the contact information is correct. If anyone that site, you’ll have to let me know how it looks. As the person who controls the page, I don’t think I see what you do. The internet is still a mysterious place…

There is something about getting a Brazilian Bikini Wax that makes you feel like you can conquer the world!

My 15th review on Amazon just came out for A Promise of Passion. Thank you!!!!

“Loved it. I love a book that is told from both points of view. It seems more true to life and feels like you are there as the one in the story. The story line with so much passion is great. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it. A must read. Well written. I was given an Arc in exchange for an honest review.”

We use abbreviations for some of our more popular services at Mark & M.E. For example, a B&B is a Brazilian and Brow Wax which is what I do on nearly half of my clients. The other day, one of my regulars walked in and I said “puss & pits?” And she laughed and said yes. That’s when we decided we should call that service a P&P.

During a Brazilian, the client and I were discussing whether or not her husband would enjoy my hard work. She said that he definitely would NOT, because he was in the doghouse. I don’t quite understand the whole doghouse thing. Why should both people suffer? I had a brilliant suggestion. Instead of doghouse, choose dog style, then she wouldn’t have to look at him.

We are so much more than just a wax salon, and every once in awhile I feel the need to remind people of that fact. For example, once of my client’s was interested in getting a facial. We have our own personalized skincare line that we love, and I just saw that this client left a review online. Had to share!

“M.E. always does a great job, but today she recommended a facial to me, and it was FABULOUS! Thank you, Sarah, can’t wait to have another!”

I started writing The Happy Hoo-Ha in 2008. There is a chapter called “Bald At Any Age” that talks about how I have waxed women ages 13 to 75. Yesterday, that 13 year old came in. She was a ballet dancer at Draper back then and her mom brought her to Mark & M.E., because you could see her hair through her pink tights. It was so cool to see her almost a decade later as a young adult. It was also a reminder that I have been doing this a really long time.

Check out the article I wrote for August’s issue of the Rochester Woman’s Magazine. It’s about Manscaping!

Got myself an ad in August’s issue of Rochester Woman’s Magazine. Feel kind of bad that it says “woman owned businesses” since Mark technically owns Mark & M.E.  Shhh, don’t let him know. I like pretending I own the place!
