I was waxing a woman who hadn’t been waxed in several months. As I was finishing, she told me that her lady parts were on fire. I told her that she wasn’t very red. In fact, her skin was only light pink. I told her that the area was the color of Bubblicious Bubble Gum. She told me that she hoped someone would chew on her like a piece of bubble gum.

Thoughts, stories, and insights from M.E. Nesser
A woman charged her Brazilian service at Mark & M.E. I asked her if she wanted a receipt. She laughed and said she wasn’t sure how she’d return the item if she didn’t want it anymore. We pondered gluing the hair back on or possibly providing her with a merkin in exchange for the hair I removed. No, I guess a Brazilian is not something that can be easily exchanged or returned. She left with a huge smile and no receipt.

If you enjoyed The Happy Trail as much as I did writing it, I’d love a review on Amazon. You’ve told me you love the crazy poetry and the absurd illustrations, please tell the world! Thank you!!
Here’s my not so old age story on this beautiful Friday morning.
The last time I saw my mom, she hopped into my corvette and said she wondered if she’d ever feel her age, which is 85. If you met her, you wouldn’t believe she was that old. She always told me you’re as old as you feel. I told her that I doubted she’d ever feel her age because she has such an amazing attitude and I hoped to be like her when I grew up.
Yesterday, my doctor told me I’ve graduated to that next level of maturity: menopause. That’s not sitting well with me. I am so my mother’s daughter. It must be a combination of my upbringing, personality and bizarre career choice, but my grown up blood work can kiss my ass! I may have more wrinkles and some aches and pains, but I am 25 years old every day of the week. Cheers to feeling forever young!
Loving this Google My Business site. Got another review! “I had my first wax here and it went great! Mary Elizabeth is obviously well versed in her practice and offered helpful advice. I’d recommend especially for newbies.”
Do you ever come across a word when you are reading that makes you happy? There are certain words that excite me when I read them. I stumbled upon the word “feral” last night. It usually refers to animals that are wild, although in my smutty book, it was not referring to animals. It made me think of how some of the half-crazed women act on my table when I am waxing them. I had several body parts scratched and grabbed yesterday. These particular ladies were like feral animals. It was pretty exciting.
Every time I sell another book on Amazon, I get a little giddy. #thehappyhoohatrilogy #apromiseofpassion
As I was waiting to be seen by my obgyn for my yearly exam, I was playing words with friends. The word of the day was “boxy.” Normally, the word of the day is something obscure. Nope, today it was boxy. Here I am, waiting to get that particular area checked out, it’s the area I work on for a living, and it’s the word of the day. That was the first of many belly laughs of the day!
