This week a new client came in because her friend was telling her how she had been coming to Mark & M.E. for years and how I was one of her longest relationships. After over thirty years in the industry, I am proud of my longstanding relationships with my clients. It has been the best part of my job – aside from the satisfaction of ripping out hair!

We had a LOT of really happy teachers run into the salon today to celebrate the Last Day of School by getting their Summer Brazilian Wax.
We absolutely LOVE when friends come into the salon together for Brazilian Waxes. Friends who wax together are friends for life! Thank you for letting us be a part of your friendship!!!
BRAZILIAN WAXING TIMELINES:
We need a minimum of 2 weeks growth since you last shaved, trimmed or used Nair. If it’s longer than 2 weeks, that is okay. Please do not trim. Most people trim it too short. We will do the trimming if it’s necessary.
In the summer, you can come back for a consecutive wax any time after 3 weeks. Most people wax every 3-5 weeks in the summer and 4-6 weeks in the winter.
If it has been 4 or more months since you’ve done anything, then yes, we may be tempted to shoot it.
I’ve been waxing a woman for several years who has a very low tolerance for the service. We use numbing products on her entire bikini area and although her hair is so much finer and thinner, she struggles. Every time I wax her she says that she can’t get Brazilians any more because she can’t take it. She constantly asks how many more rips and encourages me to leave strays behind. The best part is that as she leaves the wax room, she always says “see ya next month!” 😂
Although we do take walk in’s, we have one staff member on maternity leave, another one going on maternity leave soon and a few staff members going on vacation. We HIGHLY recommend you book your wax ahead of time to make sure you can get in!

Although we are known for ripping out hair from each and every part of your body, we do other things to hair as well. On your head, we cut, curl, perm, color, highlight and even lowlight it.
