I’ve spent a career in private rooms listening to the sordid details of my client’s sex lives, which is one of the reasons I’ve written A Promise of Passion Series. A girl came into the salon looking for the 2nd book in the series entitled Passion Never Dies. When she realized I was the author, she told me she was mad at me. Like many readers, the first book made her cry. Even though the books are highly sexually charged, they are inundated with real life drama and angst. Friday’s are always the busiest day at Mark and M.E. and I’m excited to hang with lots of kitties today!
Women often get an adrenaline rush when they spread their legs for me. I don’t get alarmed when their bodies shake uncontrollably, however, since I know they will get a similar rush the next time they spread ’em for somebody else. Gotta love the power of the Brazilian Bikini Wax you get from Mark and M.E.!
It’s funny the different reactions women have when I give them a Brazilian Bikini Wax. Yesterday, I had a woman complaining that the pain from the wax was causing her eye to twitch.
So many people complain when Monday comes and it’s time to get back to work. In the salon industry, our work week starts on Tuesday. When I woke up this morning, I was excited about the day ahead of me. I love getting back to work on Tuesday’s. It’s time for me to have some fun playing in the fields and making people happy!
One of my nursing students was in a lecture at the University of Rochester. The instructor was discussing how it is often necessary to shave a woman before a caesarean. He then suggested it was an even better idea to get a Brazilian Wax at Mark and M.E. because we were the best in town!
Mark and M.E. would like to do a quick SHOUT OUT to everybody who continues to make our job so worthwhile. Last week, we were busy doing gel manicures, spa pedicures, highlights, cuts, colors, perms, microblading, eye lash extensions, facials and of course waxing! It was a little harried at times, pun intended, but it was a blast. Every day I feel blessed to have discovered the beauty industry. It’s the best job in the world!
One of my clients suggested I get an urban dictionary, because some of today’s expressions confuse me. As I was leaving Mark and M.E. a woman pulled up next to me in my car, rolled down her window and said,”Hey girl, you’re popping in that car!” I said thank you, even though I wasn’t sure what she meant. My first thought was that I looked like popcorn since my car is yellow.
