Two girls came in together for Brazilian Waxes. They held hands as I performed the service to give each other strength and courage. As I was waxing the second girl, they talked about how glad they were that they came together. They decided that getting Brazilians has forever bonded them and that they were officially “Friends For Life!”

I recently came across this ad for the Brazilian Waxing at Mark & M.E. from twenty years ago. It caused a lot of controversy at the time because I was naked in the ad. (Not that you can see anything since I’m covered in mud… ) And some people thought it was my head on an animal’s body, which they didn’t like either. Although I never understood that one, it would be interesting to hear what people would think about this ad if I put it in a magazine now. I thought it was pretty clever. Thoughts?
A friend of mine went to her wax salon in Tennessee and this was the salon’s wifi password. Isn’t it brilliant? I want to be in the 5G club!
I had a new girl on the table who was very nervous and sweating profusely. At one point she said, “I’m so moist!” Not exactly what I want to hear when I’m giving someone a Brazilian Wax.
I love when clients compare their Brazilian Wax experience to other things such as fruit. A woman came in like a fuzzy peach and left like a smooth and shiny nectarine. It’s a great analogy!
As I was giving a wax class to two new hires, we had a little helper join us in the room. Not surprising that I was demonstrating the positions required to do a Brazilian Wax and a kitty climbs on the table and ended up between my legs!

HELPFUL WAX HINT:
Wear loose clothing whenever possible when you get a Brazilian Wax. Tight fitting clothing, especially in the summer, will cause you the area to sweat and that can cause some irritation if you have sensitive skin. It’s always a good idea to let the area air out and breathe.
Besides, it’s fun to wear loose fitting clothing like Vanilla Ice did back in the day…
When you get a Brazilian Wax, we need to be able to see what we are waxing. So when we ask you to lift your leg to the sky, we mean it! The more hair we can see, the more thorough we can be!
